From May to November 2003, during the American Red Cross’s largest blood donor initiative in its history, two convoys traveled around the country to raise awareness about the need for regular blood donation. The convoys visited over 300 communities, and thousands of people were inspired to share their own stories about how blood donation has touched their lives.
